Hammenhög BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergsjö the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Jörgen Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörgen Lundblad was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Hammenhög BK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jörgen Lundblad hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Bergsjö's Jonny Vase broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Knut Gabrielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Höijer in the 32nd minute of the match. Konrad Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Svensson having to interfere. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bergsjö!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konrad Modig to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Modig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Höijer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Knut Gabrielsson made a huge save. In the 56th minute, one of Hammenhög BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hammenhög BK. Jonny Vase shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 60 minutes into the game, Esbjörn Deckbergh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gustaf Svensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Bergsjö booed when Hammenhög BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Kullander didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Konrad Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Esbjörn Deckbergh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammenhög BK's Gustaf Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Esbjörn Deckbergh made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Svensson. Hammenhög BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Kurt Höijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hammenhög BK's Gustaf Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Modig in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Konrad Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergsjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Modig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Hammenhög BK's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Deckbergh came free, but Gustaf Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bergsjö booed when Hammenhög BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Hammenhög BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Svensson should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bergsjö had played much better football throughout.
