Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 10) After some careless play in the Vännäs defense, Tobias Söderqwist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oskar Hjortberg. The Vännäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oskar Hjortberg should have stopped the shot. Henrik Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Sven-Olof Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Gudmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Oskar Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vännäs getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sven-Olof Böcklund hit a great ball. Oskar Hjortberg came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Same United's Henrik Gudmundsson. But to his dismay, Henrik Gudmundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, Tobias Söderqwist notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vännäs's Oskar Hjortberg. Oskar Hjortberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Bjursell in the 54th minute of play forced Same United's goalkeeper Krister Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Gudmundsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Oskar Hjortberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Same United. Joseph Siöberg's late challenge caught a Vännäs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Siöberg helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Same United's Henrik Gudmundsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oskar Hjortberg. That made the score 0-4 after 61 minutes of play. The supporters of Vännäs booed when Same United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigvard Haeger missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 67 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Krister Ahlén right hand side. When Henrik Gudmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Same United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Gudmundsson couldn't finish the play. Michel Pihlwall struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Oskar Hjortberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Same United. After 75 played minutes Vännäs got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Böcklund. When Sven-Olof Böcklund was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Vännäs's Sven-Olof Böcklund got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Greger Bjursell charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Bjursell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vännäs getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Greger Bjursell hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Henrik Gudmundsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Same United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
