After 26 minutes, Marc Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tullinge and the Bureå players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rutger Sjöberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Paulin's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Tullinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Paulin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rutger Sjöberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47thth minute of the game Roger Paulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bureå's Rutger Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddie Lindholm made a kick off. The supporters of Bureå booed when Tullinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Bäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Bureå's goalkeeper Rutger Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Josefsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Paulin in the 64th minute of play forced Bureå's goalkeeper Rutger Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Josefsson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-3 via right post in the game's 66th minute. Tullinge's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Tullinge's Marc Josefsson got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bureå fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tullinge were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
