Mikael Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Billström having to interfere. Konga's Ivan Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludwig Abelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jörgen Billström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Rosen in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Billström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ivan Lundqvist made the kick off in the second half. Joel Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Wassenius in the 54th minute of play. Edwin Lindqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jörgen Billström. Konga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 88 played minutes Åmål BK got a freekick which was hit by Valter Salqvist. 89 minutes into the game, Konga's Johan Wassenius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Johnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Mikael Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
