Artemio Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Alf Browall notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Konga's Jörgen Billström. Jörgen Billström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alf Browall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Billström having to interfere. Alf Browall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jörgen Billström made a huge save. Gärlningsbergs FF's Jonathan Berggren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rasmus Hultman, made in the 15th minute of the game. When Alf Browall came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Gärlningsbergs FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Browall couldn't finish the play. Kahar Sutarman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lundqvist in the 24th minute of play. Konga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Alf Browall scored to the left of an out of position Jörgen Billström, making the score, 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Konga's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Nyman came free, but Jörgen Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gärlningsbergs FF's Svante Kvalfält got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Johan Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kahar Sutarman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Lundqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Billström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Gitano's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Johan Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Kahar Sutarman made a huge save. If Alf Browall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Artemio Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jörgen Billström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gärlningsbergs FF's Artemio Gitano in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gärlningsbergs FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svante Kvalfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jörgen Billström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Konga defense, Alf Browall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörgen Billström. The Konga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörgen Billström should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Johan Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svante Kvalfält in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Billström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Konga's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Gitano came free, but Jörgen Billström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Egil Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gärlningsbergs FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Billström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
