Oliver Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Oliver Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Ahlerot, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Klimpfjäll's Henrik Wallin got a free kick in the 27th minute. Svante Kvalfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Oliver Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Alf Browall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gärlningsbergs FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 34 minutes, Artemio Gitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gärlningsbergs FF and the Klimpfjäll players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 65thth minute of the game Svante Kvalfält who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klimpfjäll's Oliver Dahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Svante Kvalfält, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oliver Dahlquist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Oliver Dahlquist was a little too slow when Artemio Gitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 77th minute, Artemio Gitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svante Kvalfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Dahlquist having to interfere. Gärlningsbergs FF's attentive Jonathan Berggren managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Trulsson made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Gärlningsbergs FF's Svante Kvalfält sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Dahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gärlningsbergs FF played a much better game than Klimpfjäll and deserved their victory. The Klimpfjäll players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
