Jack Olsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Olsson struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Pelle Lindman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torshälla. Jack Olsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelle Lindman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Isaac Tholsson charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Andréas Walmarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Alströmer's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Garphyttan's Kent Söderlund got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Jack Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torshälla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Olsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Torshälla's Christer Wallander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pelle Lindman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Christer Wallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andréas Walmarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Alströmer in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Torshälla's Gilbert Gråberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Torshälla's goalkeeper Andréas Walmarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Söderlund. Sten Alströmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Torshälla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Tholsson to maneuver through the defense. Alvin Västberg, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Sten Alströmer came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Garphyttan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Alströmer couldn't finish the play. If Jack Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
