Sten Lekberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Gnarp's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 55 minutes, Sten Lekberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gnarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Lekberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calle Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Lekberg in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Greger Hedvall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Pettersson was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Stefan Jespersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jan-Olof Stål made a huge save. Calle Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Hedvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Olof Stål showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan-Olof Stål made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Stefan Jespersson sent off a good shot on target. Gnarp walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
