Spectators: 7127 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 50) Edgar Påk made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Enstaberga's Lars-Erik Wik got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Staffan Finnman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Finnman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Staffan Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Påk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Tidéksson having to interfere. Walter Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Wik in the 11th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Staffan Finnman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Håkan Tidéksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Enstaberga booed when Påryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Olenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Staffan Finnman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Håkan Tidéksson having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Påryd's Edgar Påk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Tidéksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars-Erik Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfrid Olenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Sjöberg having to interfere. Gottfrid Olenberg fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. When Lars-Erik Wik came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Enstaberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Wik couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes, Birger Lindberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Påryd and the Enstaberga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Påryd getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Birger Lindberg hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars-Erik Wik to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Gottfrid Olenberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Enstaberga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Gottfrid Olenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Påryd got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Lindmark. Gottfrid Olenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enstaberga's Lars-Erik Wik was responsible for 0-2 with a brilliant performance in the 73rd minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Walter Sjöberg. In the 77th minute, Påryd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gottfrid Olenberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gottfrid Olenberg fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 84th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Olenberg in the 86th minute of play forced Påryd's goalkeeper Walter Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gottfrid Olenberg came free in the 91st minute and tried to tip the ball over Walter Sjöberg, but to the joy of Påryd's supporters the ball went over. Enstaberga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
