The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesper Stenquist to strike the kick off in the second half. Malmö FF's Jesper Stenquist got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Marcus Klintæus took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gabriel Hjortsberg to make any attempt to save it. Gabriel Hjortsberg came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Malmö FF's Gustaf Grönlund. But to his dismay, Gustaf Grönlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jesper Stenquist took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Hjortsberg. Gabriel Hjortsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Tobias Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesper Stenquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gabriel Hjortsberg made a huge save. Dan Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Hjortsberg having to interfere. Gabriel Hjortsberg made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Jesper Stenquist sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the game, Malmö FF's Jesper Stenquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Hjortsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 91st minute Malmö FF were awarded a corner. Gustaf Grönlund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Malmö FF's Gustaf Grönlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Hjortsberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Malmö FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
