Anfield Reds's Artemio Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Siggesson in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, The Exploding Boys's goalkeeper Isac Wennersten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Hybbert. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Hybbert in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Wennersten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute of the match Gustaf Vollander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Mateo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ted Hybbert made the kick off in the second half. Anton Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaf Vollander hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Jens-Ove Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Wennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Wennersten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Thomas Siggesson rounded Anfield Reds's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Felix Heggert kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Aleksander Askelöf managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Exploding Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Askelöf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Mateo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ted Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes The Exploding Boys got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Åström. After some careless play in the The Exploding Boys defense, Ted Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Wennersten. The The Exploding Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Wennersten should have stopped the shot. The Anfield Reds fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Anfield Reds's Ted Hybbert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anton Sillén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Wennersten having to make a save. Anfield Reds walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
