In the 16th minute, Henric Hedlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Hjortsberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Malcolm Abrahamsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Sillén was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Edane's zone, Samuel Svanér stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Hjortsberg came out of the goal and Samuel Svanér tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Samuel Svanér's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Hjortsberg was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the game, one of Edane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute Samuel Svanér shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Hjortsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Överman scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Mateo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anton Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Jim Ryberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was beautiful to see Anfield Reds's Samuel Svanér in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anfield Reds had played much better football throughout.
