The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Björklund in the 53rd minute of play forced Rävlanda's goalkeeper Ingvar Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bror Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rävlanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Beckeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Bergström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orvar Lundblad kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Bror Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Årjäng IK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Albin Engström hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Hans Dahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Ingvar Granberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87thth minute of the game Mattias Lindsten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rävlanda's Ingvar Granberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rävlanda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Årjäng IK's Wiktor Hurtig got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ingvar Granberg. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
