When Frank Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Rocketpeople fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Tillman couldn't finish the play. Kent Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Sven-Arne Majman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Andersson having to make a save. In the 15th minute Emanuel Lidberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Emanuel Lidberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dan Andersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Österberg in the 21st minute of the match. Anton Harlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dan Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Lidberg in the 26th minute of play forced Rocketpeople's goalkeeper Dan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, IFK Skebobruk's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Finman came free, but Marcus Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Nykvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Arvidsson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rocketpeople's Emil Nykvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcus Arvidsson. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. In the 35th minute, Emanuel Lidberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Arne Majman in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Andersson saved Rocketpeople from getting behind. Emil Nykvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marcus Arvidsson made a huge save. Kent Stolpe hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Biörkman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocketpeople's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Skebobruk the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rocketpeople's Jan-Ove Biörkman got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Emanuel Lidberg came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the IFK Skebobruk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Lidberg couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

One of Rocketpeople:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Skebobruk:s goal. In the 58th minute, IFK Skebobruk got a penalty, and Marko Österberg placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. IFK Skebobruk's Marcus Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Nykvist in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Anton Harlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Lidberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dan Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Andersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Dan Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Majman in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Nykvist in the 85th minute of play forced IFK Skebobruk's goalkeeper Marcus Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Majman got free with Dan Andersson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Finman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Nykvist in the 95th minute of play. IFK Skebobruk played a much better game than Rocketpeople and deserved their victory. The Rocketpeople players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
