The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Klavreström getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. In the 13th match minute, Långås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Östman to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Olof Ferm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olle Falck in the 19th minute. Calle Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Ferm having to interfere. Klavreström were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Långås's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Holger Ek took the corner. The corner led Klavreström's Holger Ek to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven-Olof Ferm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Sven-Olof Ferm managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Klavreström's Thor Aleberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rune Almqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Klavreström got a freekick which was hit by Johan Matsson. Thor Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Ferm having to interfere. When Thor Aleberg came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Klavreström fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Aleberg couldn't finish the play. Calle Lind blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Olof Ferm having to make a save. If Calle Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calle Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sven-Olof Ferm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Långås's Sven-Olof Ferm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Långås from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calle Lind to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Klavreström got a corner. Långås's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Holger Ek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thor Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Ferm having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Lind in the 57th minute of play forced Långås's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Ferm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Thor Aleberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Olof Ferm. Långås's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thor Aleberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 76 minutes, Johan Matsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klavreström and the Långås players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claes Wallin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonatan Kullander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 82 minute of play. After 85 minutes, Johannes Gustavsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Långås and the Klavreström players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Långås got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Gustavsson. Calle Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Klavreström fully deserved thier win.
