After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Kennet Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vormsele's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennet Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Lustig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boris Arenstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Kennet Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Arenstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Lustig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Boris Arenstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vormsele's Boris Arenstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kennet Lund couldn't finish the play. Andy Alkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Lund got free with Dan Lustig in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dan Lustig made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Kennet Lund sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Kruse to strike the kick off in the second half. Boris Arenstedt struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Dan Lustig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vormsele. 54 minutes into the game, Andy Alkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silverdalen IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vormsele the free kick. A collision led to Silverdalen IFK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pål Giöck's late challenge caught a Silverdalen IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pål Giöck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Silverdalen IFK booed when Vormsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Giöck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Vormsele's goalkeeper Jimmie Rosen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Oskar Sjöberg. After 71 minutes of play, Vormsele's Kennet Lund made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Lustig was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Vormsele's Kennet Lund got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Boris Arenstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dan Lustig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverdalen IFK's Dan Lustig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Lund in the 84th minute of play. Dan Lustig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Arenstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Arvid Billvall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Lustig skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Silverdalen IFK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Andy Alkvist hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Sven Kruse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jimmie Rosen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vormsele were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Silverdalen IFK to leave the ground with a draw.
