Hedesunda IF's Aleksander Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hedesunda IF from getting a goal against them. Kenneth Björkkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Pihl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sonny Pihl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Björkkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Haraldsson in the 20th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Sven-Edvin Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sonny Pihl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hedesunda IF's Aleksander Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hedesunda IF from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute, Karl-Johan Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sven-Edvin Lundgren made the kick off in the second half. If Dennis Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jörn Vallander might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksander Månsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörn Vallander ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Jörn Vallander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksander Månsson was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. A hard shot 64 in the game by Leo Haraldsson from a close distance when the talented Kenneth Björkkvist managed to make a qualified save. SK Wigör's players were relieved. SK Wigör's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Sonny Pihl scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Björkkvist, making the score, 0-1. Kenneth Björkkvist made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Leo Haraldsson sent off a good shot on target. When Leo Haraldsson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hedesunda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Haraldsson couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Hedesunda IF's Kenneth Björkkvist threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sonny Pihl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Hedesunda IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SK Wigör throughout the match.
