Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Henning Dahlgren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bertil Vestberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulf Valström having to make a save. Ulf Valström made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Bertil Vestberg sent off a good shot on target. If Henning Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Drewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Vestbergs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Ulf Valström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Åled's Jerry Österberg got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Henning Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Bratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bertil Vestberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ulf Valström made a huge save. Åled's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Henning Dahlgren scored to the left of an out of position Ulf Valström, making the score, 1-0. After 29 played minutes Ängelholm got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Holm. Ulf Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Dahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ängelholm getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bertil Vestberg hit a great ball. Ängelholm's Lars Beckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Klack in the 36th minute of play. Henning Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bertil Vestberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ängelholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Vestberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Valström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Åled's zone, Bertil Vestberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulf Valström came out of the goal and Bertil Vestberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henning Dahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ulf Valström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertil Vestberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Valström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Vestberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulf Valström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Vestberg in the 46th minute. If Henning Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hans Klack made the kick off in the second half. Ulf Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Vestberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ängelholm booed when Åled was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Falkrans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Dahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Åled got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Österberg. After 65 played minutes, Ängelholm's Evert Sandström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulf Valström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ängelholm reached it. Bertil Vestberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Valström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Gabriel Bure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Åled defense, Henning Dahlgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Valström. The Åled fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Valström should have stopped the shot. When Ängelholm's Henning Dahlgren in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åled's goalie prevented a goal. Henning Dahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Valström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henning Dahlgren in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Valström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st match minute, Ängelholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Granqvist to maneuver through the defense. Henning Dahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ulf Valström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Åled defense, Ernst Granqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Valström. The Åled fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Valström should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Ängelholm were the better team. Ängelholm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
