Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eskil Wiklund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Knut Frisck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lars Beckström made a huge save. Lars Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Granström in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Wiklund in the 9th minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Lars Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Vestberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Henning Dahlgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Täman was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Eskil Wiklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Beckström having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match Samuel Öberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilhelm Täman skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Ängelholm's Christian Lund got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Bertil Vestberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alstermo's Vilhelm Täman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ängelholm's goalkeeper Lars Beckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Granström. After having played for 37 minutes, Henning Dahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Dahlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Beckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Granström in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Ängelholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Holm to maneuver through the defense. When Eskil Wiklund came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Alstermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Wiklund couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Henning Dahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henning Dahlgren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alexander Skarkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Granström in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Henning Dahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Ängelholm's Henning Dahlgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilhelm Täman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Granström in the 65th minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Lars Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ängelholm's zone, Eskil Wiklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Beckström came out of the goal and Eskil Wiklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertil Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Täman having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match, Henning Dahlgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vilhelm Täman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 91 minutes, Bertil Vestberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Vestberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Wiklund in the 94th minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Lars Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
