Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carl Ström started the match with the kick off. Carl Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ängelholm's zone, Verner Molander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Beckström came out of the goal and Verner Molander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvar Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Bertil Vestberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvar Holmberg. Hudiksvall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Vestberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hudiksvall's Alvar Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Vestberg in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Henning Dahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Bertil Vestberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvar Holmberg. Hudiksvall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Vestberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Hudiksvall booed when Ängelholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Leonard Gustafsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lars Beckström. The goal made the score 1-2. Alvar Holmberg came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ängelholm's Henning Dahlgren. But to his dismay, Henning Dahlgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Henning Dahlgren scored 1-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvar Holmberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Ängelholm's Henning Dahlgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvar Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

After some careless play in the Hudiksvall defense, Mikael Holm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Holmberg. The Hudiksvall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Holmberg should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Henning Dahlgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvar Holmberg. The goal made the score 1-8. After 64 minutes, Evert Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ängelholm and the Hudiksvall players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ängelholm! With a little luck, Hudiksvall's Alvar Holmberg got control of the ball when Mikael Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carl Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lars Beckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Gustafsson in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Ängelholm's Henning Dahlgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvar Holmberg. Alvar Holmberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-9. If Carl Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Vestberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alvar Holmberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 84 minutes, Carl Ström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hudiksvall's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Ström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Carl Ström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvall's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Ström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Beckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvar Holmberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikael Holm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-10 in the 95 minute of play.
