After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vagnhärad IFK! Fredrik Böcklund shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Elias Utfal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Enström in the 20th minute. When Henning Ekman came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Vagnhärad IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henning Ekman couldn't finish the play. Ernst Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vemhån FF booed when Vagnhärad IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Enström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vagnhärad IFK's Henning Ekman got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwin Enström might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Utfal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Enström ran back to his position shaking his head. Edwin Enström struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Elias Utfal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vagnhärad IFK. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronny Strandberg made a kick off. Henning Ekman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Vemhån FF got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Vennerlund. Ernst Jönsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. In the 66th minute Edwin Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Utfal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Ekman in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Vemhån FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Stål to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Enström struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Elias Utfal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vagnhärad IFK. Edwin Enström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Utfal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Ekman in the 83rd minute of play forced Vemhån FF's goalkeeper Elias Utfal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Edwin Enström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Utfal. Vemhån FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Enström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Henning Ekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Utfal having to interfere.
