Andy Granberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Vallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nesor Sacristán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Viklund during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mamon Baroun to strike the kick off in the second half. When Kaj Forsell fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Exercitus's protests and gave Kaj Forsell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Exercitus getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kaj Forsell hit a great ball. Ingvar Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesor Sacristán in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes in the game, Tage Vallgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andy Granberg having to interfere. In the 64th minute Tage Vallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Granberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nesor Sacristán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mamon Baroun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Mamon Baroun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Dahlberg made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Andy Granberg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
