An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Lind in the 17th minute of play forced Surte's goalkeeper Stefan Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalum's Herbert Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Apelkvist in the 24th minute of play. Casper Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Knut Rolfsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Casper Almstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casper Almstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Apelkvist in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Surte's Ian Lundgren got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Douglas Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Tingberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Eriksson having to interfere. Arne Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Knut Rolfsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Casper Almstedt made a huge save. When Herbert Lind came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Dalum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Lind couldn't finish the play. Ian Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Surte! Casper Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Stefan Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Surte getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bo-Erik Fogel hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Herbert Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 95th minute August Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Almstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Dalum's Casper Almstedt got control of the ball when Alvin Jönsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
