If Kent Söderlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias FC's Walter Abelsson came free and shot a quick shot against goal 10 minutes in the game, fortunately Pelle Wallin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Åled's zone, Walter Abelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Wallin came out of the goal and Walter Abelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pelle Wallin made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Walter Abelsson sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Åled's zone, Kent Söderlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelle Wallin came out of the goal and Kent Söderlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Abelsson in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pelle Wallin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Åled's Pelle Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Åled from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Peder Söderqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ingemar Wallgren in the 35th minute. If Walter Abelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Walter Abelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pelle Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Söderlund in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peder Söderqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Söderlund in the 54th minute of play forced Åled's goalkeeper Pelle Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Walter Abelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Åled getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Per-Erik Tunström hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Åled's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Söderlund came free, but Pelle Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Söderlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Elias FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Per-Åke Qvarnström hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Per-Åke Qvarnström made a precise shot to the right of Pelle Wallin. Åled's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Vilhelm Skoog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Elias FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Per-Åke Qvarnström hit a great ball. Pelle Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Söderlund's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of Elias FC booed when Åled was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Skager didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Kent Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
