But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Britz couldn't finish the play. If Kjell-Arne Britz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Rune Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. You Shall Not Pass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Boström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Boström in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Torstensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjell-Arne Britz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nils-Åke Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Britz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nils-Åke Torstensson made a huge save. Rune Boström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Åke Torstensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When Vilhelm Nordström fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finspång's protests and gave Vilhelm Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Finspång's Vilhelm Nordström got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Henrik Kvick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finspång's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Kvick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linus Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Kvick in the 35th minute of the match. If Oskar Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrik Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Linus Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Boström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oskar Fagrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Linus Lindgren made a huge save. Oskar Fagrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of You Shall Not Pass booed when Finspång was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Kvick didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Britz in the 61st minute of play forced Finspång's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Åke Torstensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell-Arne Britz's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Oskar Fagrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Lindgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Fagrell ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Kjell-Arne Britz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of You Shall Not Pass booed when Finspång was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Åke Torstensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Boström in the 83rd minute of the match. If Oskar Fagrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes, Finspång's Aleksander Rönn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Linus Lindgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Finspång reached it. Rune Boström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nils-Åke Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
