An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Beckeman in the 30th minute of play forced Stensjön's goalkeeper Tord Lingren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Stensjön's Wilhelm Modig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Otto Albom. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vinninga's goalkeeper Otto Albom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 42 in the game by Wilhelm Modig from a close distance when the talented Otto Albom managed to make a qualified save. Vinninga's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Vidar Beckeman made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Wilhelm Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stensjön's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Modig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Albom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 minutes, Wilhelm Modig made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vinninga's Otto Albom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Modig in the 60th minute of play. Vinninga's Birger Forsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinninga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
