The supporters of Insjön FF booed when Vinninga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Abelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Insjön FF's goalkeeper Eskil Ahlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vidar Beckeman. Eskil Ahlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Forsberg in the 14th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Hubert Lindqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Insjön FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinninga the free kick. The supporters of Vinninga booed when Insjön FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Galle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Jansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vidar Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Otto Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Tom Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Insjön FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Westerstrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Birger Forsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tom Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match Vidar Tillman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eskil Ahlberg skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Tom Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Insjön FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Westerstrand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Vidar Beckeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Ahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eskil Ahlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinninga. Eskil Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Beckeman in the 90th minute of play. If Vidar Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vinninga had won after a very even match.
