Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan-Ove Vennerkvist made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Jarl Kihlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Åke Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sten Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Åke Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sten Högman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Åström in the 7th minute of play. Jan-Åke Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Högman having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Riddarhyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Anthon Axelsson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Leif Hake threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Anthon Axelsson this time. 14 minutes into the match, Vistträsk IF's Jan-Ove Vennerkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Hake narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Lennart Classon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Högman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Walter Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Pihlgren hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ludvig Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Hake having to interfere. When Riddarhyttan IK's Jan-Åke Lindgren in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vistträsk IF's goalie prevented a goal. Riddarhyttan IK's Walter Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthon Axelsson's late challenge caught a Riddarhyttan IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthon Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Vistträsk IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Tim Bryngelsson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 46 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sten Högman was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Jan-Åke Lindgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Åke Lindgren really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. If Jan-Ove Vennerkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vistträsk IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Jan-Åke Lindgren scored to the left of an out of position Sten Högman, making the score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Walter Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riddarhyttan IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Högman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Högman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Lindgren in the 67th minute of play. Walter Åström in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sten Högman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 89 minutes, Nils-Erik Böcklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riddarhyttan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Böcklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Högman came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Riddarhyttan IK's Walter Åström. But to his dismay, Walter Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Riddarhyttan IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
