The audience was convinced that Jonas Arenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Högman was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After having played for 38 minutes, Kaj Eckegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Ove Vennerkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Kaj Eckegren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Jonas Arenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Vistträsk IF. Anthon Axelsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Karl Albohm. 1-0. Ludvig Klint's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Albohm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ove Vennerkvist in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Albohm saved Fengersfors FK from getting behind. Vistträsk IF's Patrik Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ludvig Klint came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Vistträsk IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludvig Klint couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Vistträsk IF's goalkeeper Sten Högman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Arenius. A collision led to Vistträsk IF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Patrik Hermansson hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes Fengersfors FK got a freekick which was hit by David Wallengren. 98 minutes into the match, Vistträsk IF's Anthon Axelsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
