An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Lindgren in the 6th minute of play forced Blåviksjön BK's goalkeeper Filiph Alfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Riddarhyttan IK were awarded a corner. Lennart Classon went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Blåviksjön BK's Filiph Alfors got control of the ball when Walter Åström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jan-Åke Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riddarhyttan IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Åke Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiph Alfors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walter Åström scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiph Alfors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Walter Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riddarhyttan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blåviksjön BK's Filiph Alfors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Blåviksjön BK from getting a goal against them. Edgar Ekgren hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Lindgren in the 32nd minute of play forced Blåviksjön BK's goalkeeper Filiph Alfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Jan-Åke Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Blåviksjön BK's goalkeeper Filiph Alfors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Åström. Walter Åström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Filiph Alfors made a huge save. Jan-Åke Lindgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filiph Alfors came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Åke Lindgren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. Nils-Erik Böcklund's late challenge caught a Blåviksjön BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Erik Böcklund helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Riddarhyttan IK got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Böcklund.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mårten Arenberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Walter Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riddarhyttan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kurt Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riddarhyttan IK's protests and gave Kurt Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. When Walter Åström came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Riddarhyttan IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Åström couldn't finish the play. Blåviksjön BK's Filiph Alfors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Lindgren in the 62nd minute of play. Jan-Åke Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Filiph Alfors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riddarhyttan IK. If Walter Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Åström scored 3-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiph Alfors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiph Alfors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Blåviksjön BK's Mårten Arenberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leif Hake. That made the score 3-1 after 81 minutes of play. Walter Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Alfors having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Walter Åström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Filiph Alfors was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Riddarhyttan IK fully deserved thier win.
