Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eddie Billing made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Eric Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, New Lambton Eagles's Peter Kihlman got control of the ball when Harry Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 minutes Tyresö's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eddie Billing who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eddie Billing got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ingmar Ståhlman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute Lennart Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Björklund took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingmar Ståhlman. Ingmar Ståhlman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Billing in the 18th minute of play forced Tyresö's goalkeeper Ingmar Ståhlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, New Lambton Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Nässén to maneuver through the defense. When New Lambton Eagles's Lennart Petersson in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tyresö's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Kristian Rudberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Kihlman. New Lambton Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristian Rudberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute, Eric Björklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingmar Ståhlman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Eddie Billing might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingmar Ståhlman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eddie Billing ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, New Lambton Eagles's Wilhelm Vase got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Eddie Billing managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Lambton Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Billing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Ståhlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingmar Ståhlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Björklund in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Tyresö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Eric Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Lambton Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Björklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Ståhlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tyresö getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mikael Hagberg hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, Tyresö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. The Tyresö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Lambton Eagles were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ola Sandberg made a kick off. When Eddie Billing came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the New Lambton Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Billing couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Eddie Billing took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ingmar Ståhlman to make any attempt to save it. Eric Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ingmar Ståhlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Nässén in the 59th minute of the match. Eric Björklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ingmar Ståhlman made a huge save. New Lambton Eagles's Wilhelm Vase got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When New Lambton Eagles's Wilhelm Vase in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tyresö's goalie prevented a goal. 71 minutes into the game, New Lambton Eagles's Wilhelm Vase nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingmar Ståhlman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Tunström in the 75th minute of play forced New Lambton Eagles's goalkeeper Peter Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eddie Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingmar Ståhlman came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by New Lambton Eagles's Eric Björklund. But to his dismay, Eric Björklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. If Eddie Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Vase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ingmar Ståhlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Petersson got free with Ingmar Ståhlman in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
