The supporters of Täby FK booed when Holm IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Högman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Lindmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dag Nyström made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Bo Lindmark put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dag Nyström. Täby FK's Måns Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Ström in the 28th minute of play. Bo Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Nyström having to interfere. Dag Nyström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Lindmark in the 41st minute. The supporters of Täby FK booed when Holm IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Pååk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Söderqwist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dag Nyström was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Bo Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Måns Hermansson having to interfere.

August Falck hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bo Ström struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Måns Hermansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holm IK. In the 59th minute, August Falck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ture Eliasson's late challenge caught a Holm IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ture Eliasson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Ture Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Täby FK got a freekick which was hit by Isak Sundberg. August Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Måns Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Hermansson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Malte Hammarbäck. Bo Ström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Joel Söderqwist struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dag Nyström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Lindmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Täby FK's Måns Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Täby FK from getting a goal against them. August Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Måns Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holm IK's Bo Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Täby FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Holm IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
