When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, La Mazza's Knut Blom got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Johan Hellström. 29 minutes into the match, Ilsbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Alefors came free, but Johan Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olof Hagberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Lucas Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Apelkvist took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magnus Smedfeldt. La Mazza were furious when Magne Bergstedt was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of La Mazza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ilsbo IF:s goal. Magnus Smedfeldt went to the wrong direction when Ernst Isaksson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of La Mazza booed when Ilsbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Isaksson was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Thomas Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Knut Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christer Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute.
