Brian Trulsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Ängelholm FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tomas Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jan-Erik Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Ängelholm FK's Brian Trulsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Erik Asserlind narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ängelholm FK's Tomas Jelm got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Dorotea BF's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Trulsson came free, but Jan-Erik Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Trulsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Per-Olof Brask fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ängelholm FK's protests and gave Per-Olof Brask a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dorotea BF's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Asserlind, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Jelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Asserlind having to interfere. Jan-Erik Asserlind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Trulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tomas Jelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Asserlind having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Tomas Jelm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ängelholm FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Ängelholm FK booed when Dorotea BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Wall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Löfgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Magnus Österlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Brian Trulsson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ängelholm FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Trulsson couldn't finish the play. Ängelholm FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
