After a defensive mix-up in BK Bärs's zone, Arvid Petersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Bergfeldt came out of the goal and Arvid Petersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Ronny Valrot from a close distance when the talented Mattias Bergfeldt managed to make a qualified save. BK Bärs's players were relieved. In the 15th minute, Lucas Viklund made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Olsmann. Virsbo IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Virsbo IF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Per-Olof Holmberg hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Arvid Petersson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BK Bärs's Mattias Bergfeldt. Mattias Bergfeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Lucas Viklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Olsmann. Virsbo IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Viklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Virsbo IF's Fredrik Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Kilström in the 34th minute of play. When Tobias Tham fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Virsbo IF's protests and gave Tobias Tham a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Virsbo IF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tobias Tham hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Virsbo IF's Ragnar Blom got a free kick in the 37th minute. Östen Söderberg charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Östen Söderberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Virsbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Östen Söderberg. After recieving a nice pass, BK Bärs's Sven-Arne Westerberg tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Harry Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mattias Bergfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Valrot in the 54th minute of the match. Mattias Bergfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Ahlén in the 60th minute of play. If Verner Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Ludwig Ahlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Sven-Arne Westerberg saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Fredrik Olsmann made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Harry Kilström sent off a good shot on target. Ludwig Ahlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes BK Bärs got a freekick which was hit by Östen Wållander. In the 87th minute Lucas Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Olsmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Valrot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Bergfeldt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Verner Bennet during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Verner Bennet hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. BK Bärs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
