Borgholm's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vilhelm Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Mellin in the 38th minute of play.

The wind increased when Tim Mellin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Borgholm booed when Krut i Dojjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Vidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morgan Rosendal made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leif Kvick however managed to control. Dennis Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Lundberg having to interfere. If Jan Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Hedbom hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Borgholm's Emil Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Sven Strandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Vidman charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herman Vidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Krut i Dojjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Vidman to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tim Mellin sped through Borgholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vilhelm Lundberg. Valter Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Huey Paterson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Krut i Dojjan were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Borgholm's much stronger midfield.
