The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chicken Noodle Hoop's goalkeeper Oscar Vassenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jonatan Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicken Noodle Hoop's protests and gave Jonatan Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Vassenius came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Nossebro BK's Hampus Hägglund. But to his dismay, Hampus Hägglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfons Jonsson during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nossebro BK's Alfons Jonsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. Oscar Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Hägglund in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Chicken Noodle Hoop getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edward Axelsson hit a great ball. Chicken Noodle Hoop's Oscar Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Chicken Noodle Hoop from getting a goal against them. Arvin Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Vassenius having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gösta Liljeström during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andreas Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Nossebro BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Aron Biörling hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Nossebro BK's Bengt Häll got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Chicken Noodle Hoop's Östen Frisck made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Kristiansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hampus Hägglund to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Arvin Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nossebro BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvin Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Vassenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stellan Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Kristiansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stellan Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. Chicken Noodle Hoop's Östen Frisck got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Chicken Noodle Hoop's Östen Frisck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Kristiansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvin Nilsson in the 79th minute of play forced Chicken Noodle Hoop's goalkeeper Oscar Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nossebro BK booed when Chicken Noodle Hoop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Börge Fredriksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Kristiansson skillfully saved the ball. Oscar Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Hägglund in the 95th minute of the match. The Chicken Noodle Hoop players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
