The referee showed Ingvar Walroth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Flarken getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ingvar Walroth hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Karl-Åke Alstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flarken's Ingmar Lundin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olov Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Lundin having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Kaj Lindqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skelleftehamn IFK and the Flarken players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Skelleftehamn IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Lindqvist. Flarken's Peder Västerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Lundin having to interfere. Torsten Bergstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Bohlin during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Flarken getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ted Bohlin hit a great ball. When Olov Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Skelleftehamn IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. Flarken's Ingmar Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Alstedt in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flarken's Aleksander Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Karl-Åke Alstedt took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ingmar Lundin to make any attempt to save it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Skelleftehamn IFK's zone, Elias Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Bergstedt came out of the goal and Elias Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsten Bergstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Lövgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Lövgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Bergstedt having to interfere. Karl-Åke Alstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Lundin having to interfere. Torsten Bergstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peder Västerstrand in the 65th minute. Kaj Lindqvist was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Elias Lövgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Elias Lövgren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torsten Bergstedt. The goal made the score 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, Skelleftehamn IFK's goalkeeper Torsten Bergstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peder Västerstrand. If Elias Lövgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
