Långserud's Eddie Tunström got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eddie Tunström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viggo Pihlwall was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Tunström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Helge Siöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Olov Vedholm made a huge save. Långserud's Karl Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Siöberg got free with Olov Vedholm in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Långserud's Olov Vedholm got control of the ball when Helge Siöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Björkman in the 98th minute of play forced Långserud's goalkeeper Olov Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
