The referee ignored Zlatans Fotbolls Förening's protests and gave Göran Valström a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of Zlatans Fotbolls Förening:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Åstol IK a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andreas Hääger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zlatans Fotbolls Förening's Roger Brummer. 3-1. Åke Säv was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Zlatans Fotbolls Förening's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roger Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Ros in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Åstol IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zlatans Fotbolls Förening had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
