Spectators: 7318 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Magne Nordström started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Per Lind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vegas Grappar's Alfred Stabbe got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Kaxe in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Oskar Björklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Loiola made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when August Kruuse sent off a good shot on target. Per Lind's late challenge caught a Gudskrigare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per Lind helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gudskrigare booed when Vegas Grappar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when August Kruuse got free with Atilano Loiola in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Gudskrigare's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Ivarsson came free, but Sven-Oskar Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gudskrigare's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Björklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isac Fogel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atilano Loiola. Vegas Grappar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vegas Grappar's Atilano Loiola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Vegas Grappar from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Kaxe in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Oskar Björklund saved Gudskrigare from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Vilhelm Kaxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vegas Grappar's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Kaxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Oskar Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Ola Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Björklund having to interfere. When Vegas Grappar's Vilhelm Kaxe in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gudskrigare's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vegas Grappar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Atilano Loiola, was totally fooled by Gudskrigare's Patrick Engström, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Magne Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Salqvist made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lennart Salqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vegas Grappar's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Salqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Oskar Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Lenberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 61st playminute. 65 minutes into the game, Aaron Eriksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Oskar Björklund. Aaron Eriksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. A collision led to Gudskrigare getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jimmie Karlsson hit a great ball. Sven-Oskar Björklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jens-Ola Ivarsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 73 minute of play. Bengt-Åke Lenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sven-Oskar Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gudskrigare's zone, Per Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Björklund came out of the goal and Per Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Oskar Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Stabbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gudskrigare's zone, Bengt-Åke Lenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Björklund came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Lenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Oskar Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Alfred Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Salqvist in the 95th minute of play forced Gudskrigare's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vegas Grappar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
