Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urban Söderqwist got the match started through his kick off. When IFK Vänersborg's Allan Westerstrand in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slöinge's goalie prevented a goal. If Alf Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urban Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Slöinge's Urban Söderqwist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vidar Brun. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Allan Westerstrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Fabian Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Allan Westerstrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slöinge's Leo Björkdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. IFK Vänersborg's Allan Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Leo Björkdahl was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Fabian Sandberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabian Sandberg really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. A collision led to IFK Vänersborg getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rudolf Granström hit a great ball. Fabian Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leo Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IFK Vänersborg's Allan Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Alf Sandell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slöinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Sandell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vidar Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vidar Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the game, one of Slöinge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fabian Sandberg struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Leo Björkdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Vänersborg. If Urban Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes, IFK Vänersborg's Carl Pihlblad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Björkdahl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Vänersborg reached it. After 91 played minutes Slöinge got a freekick which was hit by Ove Heggert. Allan Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Leo Björkdahl made a huge save.
