Liverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvin Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Manfred Bolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Åberg went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Edvin Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Liverpool FC's Manfred Bolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool FC from getting a goal against them. Erik Linqvist's late challenge caught a Liverpool FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manfred Bolin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hjalmar Morat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orvar Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Orvar Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braås's supporters rose to their feet, but Orvar Göransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Bolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

A very good chance. Hjalmar Morat's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kurt Torsberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Braås fans cheered their team off the field, for while Liverpool FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
