Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Harry Olsmann made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the game, one of Iron FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Karl-Johan Gernberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Sundberg in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Korpagubbar's zone, Sven-Olof Sikström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Gernberg came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Sikström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Korpagubbar got a freekick which was hit by Erik Thorsberg. After 20 played minutes Iron FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Bållström. After 21 played minutes, Korpagubbar's Edvin Brummer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gottfrid Malmberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Korpagubbar reached it. After 23 played minutes Iron FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Holmgren. Sven-Olof Sikström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Gernberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Maximilian Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Gernberg having to interfere. Karl-Johan Gernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Bergren in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sundberg in the 37th minute of play forced Korpagubbar's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Gernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Korpagubbar's Josef Vall got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jonny Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Karl-Johan Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Korpagubbar's Karl-Johan Gernberg got control of the ball when Andreas Sundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Andreas Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Iron FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Sundberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Korpagubbar's zone, Andreas Sundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Gernberg came out of the goal and Andreas Sundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Iron FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Korpagubbar were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pär Nyberg made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Pär Nyberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gottfrid Malmberg. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Andreas Sundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Johan Gernberg having to make a save. 59 minutes into the game, Richard Engström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korpagubbar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iron FC the free kick. Richard Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Andreas Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gottfrid Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Thorsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Maximilian Sjö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korpagubbar's Karl-Johan Gernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Bergren in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Maximilian Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iron FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Andreas Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Karl-Johan Gernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iron FC. Sven-Olof Sikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Gernberg having to interfere. Andreas Sundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Johan Gernberg having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Sundberg in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Gernberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iron FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximilian Sjö in the 87th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Iron FC's Andreas Sundberg made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Johan Gernberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl-Johan Gernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Iron FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Korpagubbar to leave the ground with a draw.
