Brian Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Apelkvist having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Anders Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genevad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes in the game, Nicklas Kråk fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ludvig Vikström having to interfere. Anders Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ludvig Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Apelkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Hägglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genevad IF's Ernst Apelkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Alebeck in the 21st minute of play. Jon Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ernst Apelkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Albäck in the 33rd minute of play forced Skälby IK's goalkeeper Ludvig Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match Malte Hellström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernst Apelkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robert Skoglund's late challenge caught a Skälby IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Skoglund helped the player get up and apologised. Jon Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Genevad IF's zone, Brian Alebeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anders Albäck was the one to do the kick off. Brian Alebeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ernst Apelkvist made a huge save. A collision led to Genevad IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Robert Skoglund hit a great ball. Anders Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ludvig Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Apelkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Hägglund in the 78th minute of play. Genevad IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Albäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludvig Vikström came out of the goal and Anders Albäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anders Albäck came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Genevad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Albäck couldn't finish the play. Anders Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ludvig Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Skälby IK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Genevad IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
