Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Anthon Skräddare made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Arne Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BergsTrollen HK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åhus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Arne Sundberg scored to the left of an out of position Jörgen Olofsson, making the score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Åhus's goalkeeper Jörgen Olofsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Nyman. With a little luck, Åhus's Jörgen Olofsson got control of the ball when Kurt Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ragnar Viklund kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Leo Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Bållström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BergsTrollen HK's Åke Bållström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Andreasson in the 29th minute of play. Kurt Nyman might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Olofsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Nyman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Leo Andreasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jörgen Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Sundberg in the 38th minute of play. BergsTrollen HK's Kurt Nyman managed to work through Åhus's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kurt Nyman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus's zone, Kurt Nyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Olofsson came out of the goal and Kurt Nyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 minutes, Algot Apelkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åhus and the BergsTrollen HK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Algot Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Sundberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Åhus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Åhus got a freekick which was hit by Conny Vallgren. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Kurt Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. BergsTrollen HK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Olofsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Olofsson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by BergsTrollen HK's Arne Sundberg. But to his dismay, Arne Sundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, BergsTrollen HK's Kurt Nyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jörgen Olofsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kurt Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus's zone, Kurt Nyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Olofsson came out of the goal and Kurt Nyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Nyman in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Olofsson saved Åhus from getting behind. Arne Sundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörgen Olofsson having to make a save. After having played for 73 minutes, Arne Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BergsTrollen HK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kurt Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Åhus getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Börje Ros hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Kurt Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jörgen Olofsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Nyman's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Åhus's Anthon Skräddare dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Åke Bållström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Orvar Söderqvist. 90 minutes into the match, Åhus's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Sundberg came free, but Jörgen Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BergsTrollen HK fully deserved thier win.
