LINKÖPINGS FF's Claes Widberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Hammarberg in the 10th minute of play. Claes Widberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Hammarberg in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Henning Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Widberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Widberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Hammarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Claes Widberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Hammarberg in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Blacka Rasta Vibration:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Johnsson got free with Claes Widberg in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Sture Hammarberg made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Johnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Johnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Blacka Rasta Vibration got a freekick which was hit by Aron Johnsson. Sture Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Widberg having to interfere. Sture Hammarberg took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Widberg. Claes Widberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in LINKÖPINGS FF's zone, Sture Hammarberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Widberg came out of the goal and Sture Hammarberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ingvar Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Sandström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Rudolf Persson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 75 minutes into the game, Sture Hammarberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Claes Widberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Johnsson in the 81st minute of play forced LINKÖPINGS FF's goalkeeper Claes Widberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blacka Rasta Vibration's Sture Hammarberg got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Widberg having to make a save. Blacka Rasta Vibration's Sture Hammarberg got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ingvar Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
