The Vartofta FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Magnus Lövskog cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Johan Hasselqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albert Hermansson took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Hasselqvist. Magnus Lövskog's late challenge caught a Frassekungar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magnus Lövskog helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Vartofta FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Lövskog to maneuver through the defense. Frassekungar's Johan Hasselqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Ekblom in the 31st minute of play. Johan Hasselqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Carlsson to make the kick off. Brian Björk charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Ekblom got free with Johan Hasselqvist in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vartofta FK's Algot Kollberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Söderqvist in the 75th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Magnus Lövskog managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 89 minutes into the match, Vartofta FK's Magnus Lövskog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johan Hasselqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albert Hermansson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Johan Hasselqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vartofta FK. If Karl Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vartofta FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vartofta FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
