Fabian Mickelsson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tor Vallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stora Höga. The supporters of Stora Höga booed when Ängelholm IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Ödmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stora Höga's Fabian Mickelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabian Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Arne Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian Mickelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Tor Vallin when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt-Arne Böcklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Stora Höga's Bengt-Arne Böcklund got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Arne Böcklund in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Vallin saved Ängelholm IK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Mickelsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Ängelholm IK's goalkeeper Tor Vallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bengt-Arne Böcklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ängelholm IK's zone, Bengt-Arne Böcklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Vallin came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Böcklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stora Höga were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
