The audience thought a goal was coming when Börje Söderström got free with Olof Bagge in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Karl-Michael Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Klågerup's protests and gave Karl-Michael Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. Börje Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Olof Bagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Björn Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bureå IFK's Björn Edström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olof Bagge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Börje Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bureå IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Söderström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Bagge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Björn Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Viggo Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olof Bagge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Edström in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viggo Allbom was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Edström in the 51st minute of play forced FC Klågerup's goalkeeper Olof Bagge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Björn Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Börje Söderström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olof Bagge. FC Klågerup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Söderström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Börje Söderström scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olof Bagge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bureå IFK fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Bureå IFK's Börje Söderström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olof Bagge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Edström in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, FC Klågerup's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Söderström came free, but Olof Bagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Östen Boberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustaf Kellman, 6-1. In the 86th minute Björn Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Bagge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olof Bagge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Söderström in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of FC Klågerup booed when Bureå IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bureå IFK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
